Fertiliser Spreading We use a 200kg capacity towed spreader for applying side dressings of fertiliser calibrated to apply between 250 gms to 4 kgs per tree. Spreader can apply fert as side discharge or full swath width. Soluble Ground Nutrient Application We can also set the sprayer up to apply nutrients in a readily available form to the base of your trees . Ideal for increasing your Zinc and Boron levels if they have been identified as critically low. Also ideal for liquid seaweed AND SILICON applications. Tree Injecting We use the highly effective pressure syringe system for the control of Phytophthora. Trees should be treated in February- March and again in August if they are showing chronic signs of the disease. Call us for a quote on a phytophthora control or prevention programme on your trees.

Shelter Belt Spraying With the restrictions on the use of some chemicals ideal for scale control it is more important than ever to reduce scale numbers in your orchard environment prior to flowering. The turbine fans on our units produce a high plume of spray which achieves an excellent coverage of shelter belt trees. Ideal for scale control in poplar and willow shelter belts in early spring. Mowing We use a Kubota with a front mounted flail mower which combines an excellent finish with the ability to also mulch light vegetative trash. This machine is very manoeuvrable and is comparatively light so causes very little ground compaction Full Orchard Management We can take care of all your Orchard nutrition (soil & leaf tests, fert recommendation, fert application), pollination, irrigation, appropriate spray programme, mulching, mowing, weed spraying, injecting, tree canopy management, crop assessment and harvesting. Leasing For those orchard owners that don’t have the time or desire to run their orchard, we offer a lease arrangement which ensures ongoing care and maintenance of the owners asset whilst delivering a majority share of the profits to them.
