Avomax - your Avocado Orchard Spraying specialist

Avomax, formally known as Fruitmax, is a company developed solely to service avocado orchards.
We specialise in spraying avocado trees with unique equipment that has been developed to provide an effective and efficient way of spraying the many various shapes and sizes of avocado tree.

We have been in the business of spraying avocado orchards since 2001 and as a result have built up a cliental of over 200 growers. Our services are recommended by 7 different packing facilities to their growers. One of these packing sheds, who have the majority of their growers use us as their spray contractor, reported an export packout that was 10% above industry average. A large number of our clients regularly achieve export pack outs of over 80%.
Winners of the highest export packout (over 95%) 2005, 2006, 2007 seasons at Aerocool were growers whose orchards were sprayed by Avomax.

Apart from spraying Avocado trees we provide other services such as mowing, fert spreading, tree injecting, weed spraying and soluble nutrient soil application.

We are based in Te Puna, Bay of Plenty, New Zealand and have an operating area that extends from Athenree to Otamarakau in the Western Bay of Plenty.

OUR CLIENTS

Craig and Kate Bettjeman have been running a successful spray contracting business for the last eight years in the Bay of Plenty. They currently spray 53 out of the hundred plus orchards that pack with Aerocool.
For the past three years the winner of the "Highest Export Percentage" at Aerocool has been an orchard sprayed by Avo Max. This is evidence that Avo Max is gaining good spray coverage of your trees and also applying the correct chemical to address insect infestations.
Aerocool's average export percentage was also ten percent above the industry average in the 07 - 08 season, and part of this could be attributed to good quality, clean fruit coming into Aerocool packhouse that was sprayed by Avo Max.
Avo Max have proved to be professional in our dealings with them and always follow up quickly and efficiently.
